Following the recent smoking ban in all public places across the UK, there has never been a better time to working in a bar / pub. Even towards the end of 2006 after the ban had been in force in Scotland, studies were showing that the health of Scotland’s bar staff has improved dramatically with reductions in asthmatic and allergy related illnesses.
Not only has the improved working conditions led to a healther working environment for the large number of temporary and shift based employees that work in the leisure industry but it would seem that the lack of smoke is prompting customers to spend more on better quality wines indicating an increase in sales and therefore happier employers!!

I wonder whether ‘gentlemen’s clubs’ will see a major downturn in their trade as the men who frequent such place are made to confess their sins by being publicly displayed outside the front doors, good!!!!
