How does earning £500 in your spare time sound? Every autumn there is the opportunity to work for your local council on their annual survey to help keep records up to date.
Authorities start by sending out forms to every household, but to ensure as many people as possible are included on the electoral register, it then sends canvassers to visit homes and collect forms by hand.
Canvassing lasts from mid- August to early November, canvassers are expected to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when people are expected to be at home. Previous experience is not necessary.
