Migrant workers from eastern Europe are claiming around £28 million in child benefit that is going to children who do not live in Britain.
The vast majority of these children live in Poland. Current rules state that migrant workers can claim £18.10 a week for their first child and £12.10 for younger ones, even if they live overseas.
Is it right to send money overseas or should this welfare rule be changed to only apply to those supporting a child in the uk?
