Over 1,000 new jobs are being created for young unemployed people in Leicestershire.
Part of the Backing Young Britain campaign (http://interactive.bis.gov.uk/backingyoungbritain/) which aims to provide employment for 18 to 24-year-olds in the public and voluntary sectors.
Phil Hope MP, minister for the East Midlands, said: “This government investment could potentially change the lives of more than 1,000 people across Leicester and Leicestershire, giving them work opportunities throughout the public and voluntary sectors.
