Fifty new jobs will be created in Ellesmere Port after Prowell, a corrugateed carboard manufacturer has announced it will run its UK distribution hub from Ellesmere Port Logistics Centre located on the Pioneer Business Park.
Argos has launched it Christmas recruitment drive with the aim of hiring 15,000 temporary staff for the Christmas period. Argos are hoping to attract thousands of temps to fill largely part-time roles.

American Tycoon Donald Trump has won his fight to build a £1billion golf resort in Scotland. His plans include two golf courses, a 450 bedroom hotel and 500 homes, holiday apartments and golf villas.
The plan had originally been turned down by local councillors amid protests from conservationists. But they were overruled by Scottish finance secretary John Swinney.
The resort will be near Balmedie in Aberdeenshire and will create an estimated 6,000 jobs of which 1,400 will be local and permanent.
