Poundland is going to open a new shop each week in 2010 creating up to 2000 jobs. Shoppers are currently trading down to discount stores to make savings and Poundland plans to capitalise on them doing so. To open so many new stores will inevitably lead to thousands fo new permanent temporary jobs across the country.
