The salaries of NHS bosses in England increased by more than three times that of NHS nurses in 2008.
Income Data Services (a pay research company) showed directors of NHS Foundations income rise by 6.4%, compared with the 1.9% awarded to nurses.
This difference clearly needs to be curbed if we are increase the number of nurses that the NHS so desperately needs.
