German utility E.ON has announced it plans to cut 400 jobs in the UK. E.ON said it would make the cuts in its UK energy services business, which connets homes and businesses to the power and gas networks and installs energy efficiency measures in homes.
The job losses are a result of a downturn in the property market and the company has not ruled out the possibility of further cuts.
