If you are temping in an effort to find a permanent job then you need to treat your temporary job as a kind of on the job interview. Show your employer how hard your work ethic is, that you will be punctual in your time keeping, trustworthy and reliable. Take every opportunity to show them what else you can do and how valuable you could be to them if you were to work there permanently.
