Disneyland Paris is looking to fill 6,000 roles for next year for permanent, short-term and seasonal positions in a variety of roles including guest services, food and beverage, sales and attractions.
Recruitment events will be held in London and Cardiff.
The London event will be held on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th October at the Hilton London Metropole from 10am each day, while the event in Cardiff will be at City Hall from 10am on the 27 October .
Apparently one in five of the workers on the Olympic site are paid less that the London living wage. It is thought that mainly contractors doing security and catering work are the worst affected.
New figures from the Olympic Delivery Authority have shown that over 6,000 people are now employed in the construction of the Olympic site. Over 4,000 other jobs have been filled with the development of the athletes village and over 3000 role going to trainers who work for the National Skills Academy for Construction.
It is estimated that the majority of these roles have gone to Londoners.
Approximately 150 work experience placements have been created by Microsoft, the global computer business, to help young people and graduates improve their future employment prospects.
The company’s Britain Works programme can assist thousands of young people improve their chance of employment.
