According to the latest market intelligence from the CITB - Construction Skills, the East and South-East will be in need of the most new construction staff over the next five years. Jobs in construction in these areas of the UK are expected to rise ahead of other regions meaning that employment in the areas is on the up. Construction is so often seen as a great barometer of the economy.
Ocado , the online supermarket, are recruiting 100 drivers to help its expanding home delivery team. The central distribution centre in Hatfield, Herts, but more vacancies will be Dartford, Leeds, Southampton and Weybridge.
Drivers will travel up to 250 miles a day and making between 10 and 28 drops per shift in a 3.5 ton van.

Ocado, the online grocer, has purchased land in Warwickshire to build a new distribution centre that will create 2000 new jobs. it does mean that it will be moving from its existing site in Hatfield, Hertfordshire we suspect.

Britain’s sixth snowdome will open in Hemel Hempstead next month creating more than 250 jobs including four snowmakers.
Snow will be made by cannons hanging from the dome’s roof.
