The South West of England Regional Development Agency (RDA) and developer David McLean Developments have signed a huge deal enabling the site for a £75m regeneration of Cornwall’s St. Austell creating initially construction jobs and then further retail jobs across town centre.
The scheme will take two years to build and will ultimately include new shops, bars, cafés and restaurants on three levels, a 550-space underground car park, four-screen cinema and 70 apartments.
