More retail jobs as Grand Arcade opens in Cambridge

Five new retailers signed up at the Cambridge Grand Arcade as the centre opened its doors to the public a couple of weeks ago.

They include Laura Ashley, ; Swedish children’s clothes retailer Polarn O Pyret ,Castle Galleries , Vision Express will also be creating jobs along with jobs at Vodafone. They join All Saints, Carluccios, Coast, Costa Coffee, Gerry Weber, G-Star, Hugo Boss, Jane Norman, Links, Phase Eight, River Island, Ted Baker, Wallis, Swarovski, Warehouse, TM Lewin, Topshop and Topman.

The development also incorporates a new John Lewis department store. Fifty-two further shop units over two levels, cafés, a restaurant, a new 950-space car park and a 500-space cycle park, comprise the remainder of the scheme.

Gerry Weber opens in Cambridge

German fashion and lifestyle brand Gerry Weber are opening up in the Grand Arcade shopping centre in Cambridge on 27th March 2008.

The Cambridge shop will be the German companies first UK non concession store outside London and its first to be located in a shopping centre.

Other new retailer jobs in Cambridge include All Saints jobs and TM Lewin jobs.

Other retail and catering jobs include Jane Norman, Links, Phase Eight, River Island, Carluccios, Coast, Costa Coffee, G-Star, Swarovski, Warehouse, Hugo Boss, Ted Baker, Wallis, Topshop and Topman

5 New retail stores in Cambridge

Five new fashion retailers are opening in Cambridge during March. They include LK Bennett, Fraser Hart and Swarovski, Warehouse and Phase Eight. The following retails shops are already there Coast, Links, G Star and Thomas Sabo.

Grand Arcade has a further 52 retail units over two floors which also include cafés and restaurants, there are literally going to be hundreds of retail jobs and catering jobs in Cambridge.

Three new retailers at Peterbourgh Queensgate Centre

Queensgate Centre in Peterborough welcomes three new shops, Paperchase has opened opposite John Lewis. The Oculist, a concept offering an optician service, consultant rooms and a range of designer glasses. Style Accessories, the designer handbag, jewellery and accessories retailer, has opened a store too. Toy Zone and Dolcis also opened during the Autumn.

Cambridge gets new Boss

Fashion brands Hugo Boss and Ted Baker, together with jeweller Links of London, are the latest big names to sign up to open shops in Cambridge.

Hugo Boss is being introduced to Cambridge as a standalone store covering both the ground and upper floors of St Andrew’s Arcade - one of the two new covered streets being created in the development. High end retail jobs at Hugo Boss are bound to be created for budding stylish part time works.

Ted Baker and Links will be coming to Cambridge for the first time. Ted Baker will occupy a spot next door to Hugo Boss, Links of London will take a spot at the entrance of the shopping centre from St Andrew’s Street.
