Over the next year Tesco will double its in-store opticians from 70 to 140 creating 490 jobs. It will be looking to hire 350 optical assistants, 70 practice managers and 70 optometrists.
This will give more people the chance to have their eyes checked whilst doing the weekly shopping.
Five major retailers have committed to the new Westfield centre. House of Fraser / Next / Marks and Spencer / Waitrose and Debenhams have supposidly started to fit out their stores and niche retailers such as Louis Vuitton have also been confirmed in an effort to attract other brands like Prada / Gucci and Cartier.

Migrant workers from eastern Europe are claiming around £28 million in child benefit that is going to children who do not live in Britain.
The vast majority of these children live in Poland. Current rules state that migrant workers can claim £18.10 a week for their first child and £12.10 for younger ones, even if they live overseas.
