Italian restaurant Prezzo are opening at the entrance of the The Atrium in Camberley. Wagamamma will also be opening up alongside Chiquito, Frankie & Benny’s and Cafe Rouge in the cental atrium creating hundreds of job opportunities in the near future.
The Atrium in Camberley’s town centre will also create a number of service jobs and retail jobs within their fashion, music shops, sports and lifestyle outlets. There will also be a cinema, a gym and ten pin bowling.
Scottish governement grants totalling £385,000 have been awarded to three companies in Dundee to safeguard jobs and create new ones.
The grants have been awarded to IRT Surveys, McTavish Ramsay and Company and Tayside Aviation. The money has come from the government’s Regional Selective Assistance fund and will create 20 new jobs and safeguard 22 in the manufacturing sector.
Bosses of the 2012 Olympics have launched a “dating agency” for companies pitching for work, this was launched by the chairman Seb Coe and is called CompeteFor.
There is upto £6billion worth of work and this is a massive opportunity for UK firms. So far 98% of contracts awarded have gone to British companies, with over 500 firms across the UK winning business.

Plans have been unveiled for a new city in the north of the UK that will have a purpose built business district capable of offering some 30,000 jobs!
Both Leeds and Manchester Councils are said to have been approached in a grand bid to create the largest phase of the growth that the UK has seen since Sheffield experience 73,000 new jobs between 1995 and 2005.
The governments latest statistics show that a record number of people are currently in employment.
Figures have reached a record high with the highest quarterly growth in the employment market since 1997. Some 175,000 people found jobs last quarter.
That takes the total employment figure to a record 29.36 million!!
