It was expected that half of the nation would be returning to work today with the view that a fresh start would improve their working lives. In fact it was quoted that 62% of the nations workforce would consider looking for a new job during January. Today and January 31st are the two most popular days of the year to look for new work. Recruitment consultancies across the country have been inundated with job hunters. Both the temporary and permanent recruitment markets are bracing themselves for a hype of activity this January.
