Swearing at work is good for you?

According to academics swearing at work is good for you and helps you cope with stress.

Seasonal Christmas jobs….

Christmas is seen as the time of excess and people have already started to organise their Christmas shopping but will the once bouyant retail industry have the same numbers of opportunities for seasonal temp workers as it has in previous years?
The chances are that there will be some but the high street and shopping centre is losing the battle that is has been waging with the websites and I think we are more likely to see an increase in warehouse and call centre work as more and more people use the click of the mouse to purchase their christmas wish lists!!
Let us know our views….?

Older workers or Migrant workers…..

A recent survey of the UK employment market has found that employers are resorting to migrant workers to fill the ever increasing skills gap rather than utilising home grown talent that is just a bit older. The stigmatism of age still seems to exist in the market.
We are relying on the migrant workforce who, it has been estimated, have filled some 52% of vacancies across the UK in the last 10 years.
Businesses are going to have to come to terms with the fact that the older generation are a better source of employee, they they need to be retained and developed more effectively in the coming years……
