Zara jobs in Warrington

Zara is opening at Golden Square shopping centre in Warrington, while Arcadia is to extend its presence in the centre with three more brands.

Zara has secured a shop, next to H&M and Topshop, in the centre’s newly developed £120m extension. The Spanish fashion retailer has agreed a 10-year lease, taking one of the largest units at Golden Square. So plenty of long term job opportunties available.

Golden Square’s extension opened on May 24, 2007, customer numbers increased by more than 90% at the centre since the extension was opened and over one million shoppers now pass through the doors each month.

Their aim of attracting and establishing quality shopping brands to Warrington has been already been a great success.

New Hull Shopping Centre drives 230,000 customers in its first week.

St Stephen’s development in Hull has seen 230,000 customers come through its doors in the first week of trading, spending an estimated £1.25m.

St Stephen’s shopping centre is anchored by a 160,000-sq ft Tesco Extra store, in addition Hull is welcming 50 other new stores including H&M and Zara, Jane Norman and La Senza.

Further phases of the development which will be completed over the coming months will provide cafes and restaurants, a cinema, an Express by Holiday Inn hotel and new homes for the Albemarle Music Centre and the acclaimed Hull Truck Theatre, due for completion in 2008.

As part of the St Stephen’s development, Hull’s Paragon Station has been redeveloped to create the UK’s first fully integrated transport interchange. The £18 million project provides shared facilities for trains, buses and coaches and will deliver some 24,000 people to the city centre each day.

It is also anticipated that the construction of 220 new homes will start in 2008.

In short, Hull is undergoing a major development which needs part time and permanent workers from start to finish. The latest jobs will be here on UK Temps shortly.

Engineering Jobs

Engineering jobs in Aerospace in the UK are as bouyant as they have been in a long time due to growth and activity in both the Civil and Military sectors. Large contracts for both National and International orders have meant that requirements are high for engineers in the aeronautical sector. This is not just a short term view either. It would seem that the current workload indicates activity will be maintained for the next 7-10 years with few jobs at risk as a number of these projects are in their infancy. The market leader BAE recruited over 1000 staff last year and they are still in the midst of a major recruitment drive in 2007. The vast number of projects mean that there is real need for engineering project managers on interim assignments, larger companies are even outsourcing projects to ensure that they are getting completed to clients orders.
