The summer brings a great opportunity for students to earn some extra money to fund their time at university and pay for those many nights out. Whether it be working in a bar, industrial shift work or temping in an office and it can also give you an insight into what you might want to get into or not as the case may be when you finish your studies.
There are always plenty of opportunities during the summer due to many companies looking for temps to cover staff holidays. Also if you come from or study in a town or city that is a holiday destination, whether it be London, Bournemouth, Blackpool or many other places in the UK many bars, restaurants and hotels will require extra staff at this busy time.
When I was at university I worked in the industrial sector during the summer working shifts which not only gave me the chance to earn more but also still be able to enjoy some of the day before or after my shift. In addition there was always the chance of overtime to increase my pay packet.
So if you have just finished your studies for the summer, get out there and get yourself a part time job for the summer whether it be pulling pints, packing boxes or temping in an office and earn some money for your return to uni and get some experince in the working world.
